Braided Mixed Berries French Toast

Ingredients

  • 4 - 5 Eggs
  • 1 – 1¼ Cup of Milk
  • Butter
  • Salt to Taste
  • Vanilla Extract
  • Sliced Strawberries
  • Blueberries
  • Raspberries
  • Maple Syrup
  • Mint (for Garnish)

Fresh berries make everything taste better. And with something as warm and fluffy as French toast, they’re the perfect accompaniment!

Recipe

  1. Make your batter by whisking your eggs, milk, vanilla, and salt together.  Each slice of brioche gets soaked in the batter until thoroughly coated.

  2. Set your stovetop to medium-high heat and grease a pan with enough butter to coat it.  Once it's heated, cook your French toast for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.

  3. While your French toast is cooking, take the time to chop up some strawberries.

  4. Once your French toast is ready, let the slices cool for 1-2 minutes before for plating.

Plating

  1. Stack 2-3 French toast slices. Once assembled, drizzle it with maple syrup.

  2. Top your French toast stack with fruits to your heart's content.

  3. Lastly, top it off with a small sprig of mint.
