Brioche Pumpkin French Toast

Ingredients

  • 3-4 Eggs
  • ¾ to 1 Cup of Milk
  • Butter
  • Salt to Taste
  • Slivered Almonds
  • Pumpkin Spice Blend
  • Maple Syrup
  • Whipped Cream

Description

This French toast is perfect for the autumn season but delicious all year round.  Rich brioche with a mix of sweet and salty toppings will leave everyone asking for more!

Recipe

  1. Make a quick batter by whisking your eggs, milk, and salt together.  Each slice of brioche gets soaked in the batter until thoroughly coated.

  2. Set your stovetop to medium-high heat and grease a pan with enough butter to coat it.

  3. Once it's heated, cook your French toast for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.  Let cool for 1-2 minutes.

Plating

  1. Stack two or three slices of French toast, sprinkling a few almond slivers on top of each slice.

  2. Drizzle maple syrup around the sides of the French toast, and gently sprinkle the stack with pumpkin spice blend.

  3. Finally, top your stack with whipped cream and a few more almonds. And there you have it: a pumpkin French toast full of warm spices, topped with sweet flavors and crunchy almonds.
