Cinnamon Raisin French Toast with Peaches

Ingredients

  • 4-5 Eggs
  • 1 – 1¼ Cup of Milk
  • Butter
  • Salt to Taste
  • Sliced Peaches
  • Cream Cheese
  • Honey
  • Cranberries
  • Powdered Sugar (optional)

Description

A unique French toast that blends sweet and savory flavors in ways you may not have ever thought could be so good.

Recipe

  1. Make a quick batter by whisking your eggs, milk, and salt together.  Each slice of brioche gets soaked in the batter until thoroughly coated.

  2. Set your stovetop to medium-high heat and grease a pan with enough butter to coat it. Once it's heated, cook your French toast for 3-4 minutes per side, or until cooked to your preferred doneness.  Let cool for 1-2 minutes.

Plating

  1. Stack two or three slices of French toast, spreading cream cheese in between each slice. Drizzle your stack with honey and place a few cranberries on the plate.  Finally, top your French toast with peaches, and an optional, light dusting of powdered sugar.

  2. This may sound like a lot of ingredients all coming together, and well, it is. But each one brings a unique flavor and texture that combine in perfect harmony.
