Tips
Ciabattas are a high hydration dough, meaning higher water-to-flour ratios; this means a softer, lighter, and moister bread! In other words, you get a sandwich that really shows off its filling while still giving you delicious bread with a crunchy crust. This sandwich uses a lot of similar ingredients to our Garden Salad recipe, including the dressing! Green goddess dressing is almost like a hybrid of ranch and Caesar dressings, and packed with herbs. It's available in most stores, but if you can't find it, it's quite easy to make. Our go-to is mixing together mayonnaise, sour cream, parsley, chives, anchovy paste, tarragon, lemon juice, and black pepper. And before you say "ew, anchovies!", it's used in Caesar dressings all the time- it'll be delicious.
